Why did you make this game?

Because we wanted a game full of Filipinos. And we wanted a fantasy game. Thus, we made a Filipino fantasy game. For a much more detailed explanation, check out Pattie's blog article on the topic.

When will the game be available?

We are releasing an early access version of the game for crowdfunders and donors on March 10, 2019! Those eligible will receive an e-mail with a redeemable game key on

The full game will be available on PC and Mac by Summer 2019 via and GameJolt.

The InterIntellectus Studio team ran an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign in October and November 2017 to raise enough funds to build and release the full game. We only raised 40% of our goal and are still seeking donations from our supporters. You can donate and preorder a copy through our website now.

Why is Quina seeing Tagalog in Mindanao?

The story draws inspiration from Pattie Umali's own family from Cotabato who spoke Tagalog at home, as they had originally moved to Cotabato from Antique. As part of the controversial Christianization of Mindanao in the 20th century, many Christian Filipinos, especially Ilongo and Cebuano, moved from other provinces resettled in Mindanao and brought their language with them.

Also, this game is primarily meant to inspire Filipinos abroad to delve deeply into Filipino culture. Philippine national news and media are usually reported in Pilipino/Tagalog, so encouraging others to learn Tagalog specifically is for practical reasons. 

We want to help support any games out there that recognize and feature other indigenous Filipino languages. So if you know some, please share with us on our social channels!

Why aren't you building mobile/tablet version?

This is something we would be interested in developing in the future, but that would require more funds. With limited funding, we are able to better ensure playability via computer than on the hundreds of mobile/tablet devices out there. Furthermore, our game mechanics and artwork as currently designed would feel very squashed on a mobile/tablet screen.

We would also likely change up gameplay for a mobile game to give it more longevity. If our game sales go well, we will explore putting out a mobile-friendly spinoff in the future that's more focused on battles and crafting weapons/spells.

But let’s focus on getting the PC/Mac version done first.

Where will I be able to get the game once it's complete?

The full game will be available for both Windows and Mac computers. The full game will be available on PC and Mac by Summer 2019 via and GameJolt.

Purchasing the game will provide a game key that will allow you to "unlock" and download the game to your computer, while receiving game patch updates through the or GameJolt game managers.

Are we open to working with other game studios to build the game?
